This event is formal, so we strongly encourage seasonal dress military uniforms for active-duty military members, and formal (dresses, khakis etc) for children!

Unfortunately, no. Since there are no physical tickets and only a guest list, the tickets for this event are non-transferrable. In the event you can no longer attend, please email us at FKetchum@ASYMCA.org to discuss refund options.

If you are a member of a dual military household, both members may attend with their child(ren) on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Civilian spouses will be more than welcome to take some photos in the lobby of the event but will not be permitted in the ballroom.

The Norfolk Waterside Marriot does not allow any outside food or beverages in their venue. We promise to provide a delicious dinner and snacks for even the pickiest of eaters! If you have an allergy concern, please email FKetchum@ASYMCA.org to discuss options

Due to their busy and private schedules, we are not able to disclose what specific characters or princesses will be attending our event. There will be plenty of chances to snag a photo with our special guests, so don’t worry about missing anyone!

This event is for children ages 3+. Most of the activities are geared toward children ages 5-12, but all children ages 3+ are welcome to attend!
